Josh Scott is an Arizona native and has been around and loved country music since he was a child,Josh never knew he had a talent for singing or writing until years later in his late thirties when a night of karaoke turned into a job,and that job turned into a band asking him to front for them and the rest is pretty much a fairy tale story from him being a country music fan,to singing and writing with one of his heroes and 1996 CMA artist of the year Ray Herndon from McBride and the Ride.
From there Josh went from driving a dump truck and coaching his daughters high school basketball team to I heart Radio Jack Daniels BOTBB song of the year THAT BOTTLE and playing shows with Tracy Lawrence,Mark Chesnutt Lainey Wilson Darryl Worley and many more legends in the game.
After some time off and some personal time to get through some personal matters Josh has teamed up with Jeff King in Nashville who currently is lead guitarist for Reba McEntire and Brooks and Drummer n and is one of the most respected musicians in all of Nashville, currently they are finishing up the first 4 songs of a loaded new album that features Josh’s Classic Country roots as well as some contemporary that crosses over to some Christian Country that sounds country but the message is clear and you’ll hear it in his Featured song(Pray)with the help from all the veterans in the country music scene this next album promises to tell a story, give thanks to God and keep a fiddle and steel guitar in every song and staying true to the music he loves while doing it his way.
Josh is excited about getting back on the road and playing live shows and attacking this next phase of his life and career, keep an eye out for where he will be and the release of his new album expected Late this year.
